Paradisus Gran Canaria is located alongside San Agustín Beach and you have stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean from the resort.
This hotel is categorised as a “Destination Inclusive® Luxury Resort”which means it has innovative all-inclusive accommodation that offers cultural experiences and local activities in the destination and in the hotel.
The volcanic sands are a short stroll away from the resort, and the golden sands of Dunas de Maspalomas are around four miles away. Gran Canaria Airport is 16 miles from the resort.
Rooms
Inspired by its natural surroundings and sustainability, accommodation features organic bed linen and toiletries, regional materials and local art. Each room is modern and bright, with textured, boho-chic design.
There are a variety of room types available to choose from with categories such as Premium Rooms to Nikté Junior Suites. We stayed in a Reserve suite, ocean view, which gave us access to private hotel areas for adults only. We had dedicated Concierge service and an exclusive pool which we could use just for The Reserve guests.
We had direct views of the sea from our balcony and the room had a contemporary design with a comfortable lounge area with a sofa-bed and a bathroom.
The bathroom was really spacious with both a shower which you could see the ocean from, and a bathtub, perfect for soaking in after a long day of exploring.
The bed was super comfortable, so much so that when I returned home I invested in a Simba mattress topper and hybrid pillow to get that same level of comfort at home!
I loved the attention to detail from the turndown service with a different surprise every evening from chocolates to aloe vera gel, as well as the in room ready-to-go beach timber bag!
Dining
There are 6 À la carte restaurants serving a range of Spanish, Italian and international cuisine and 2 bars including a beach bar and pool bar.
A total of eight food and drink outlets mean there’s something to suit all tastes – Culinary Market food hall features five different cuisines alone. There’s also a Lebanese-themed restaurant, and MasCalzone, offering rustic Italian-inspired cuisine – with a wood-fired oven, homemade pasta and an open kitchen where you can watch your meal being prepared.
For light bites and sweet treats, head to Ginger Grand Café & Lobby bar, or choose The Shack Bar if you’re by the pool for drinks and healthy bites.
. In the evenings, Lemon Fish Sky Bar offers raw bites including ceviche, with sunset views, and Kanna Beach Club offers a chic atmosphere beside the pool for adults only.
Spa
There is a gorgeous spa at Paradisus Gran Canaria where you can pamper yourself with treatments made with local ingredients and essential oils, designed to nourish and relax your inner self or spend time relaxing in the hydropool and sauna.
Facilities
There are 4 outdoor pools including a children’s pool and an indoor pool.
In addition, every evening there are various activities you can experience for free from an outdoor cinema to stargazing, and during the day you can do a yoga class, painting class, food tastings, local crafting workshops, guided tours and museum passes (charges may apply). These themes follow into the kids’ and teens’ clubs too, and there’s also a splash park for younger guests.
