Neptune Mara Rianta is nestled deep in the heart of the Masai Mara North Conservancy, one of the most exclusive and wildlife-rich parts of the Mara ecosystem. The location is nothing short of spectacular — right by the river, where you can watch hippos, gazelles, and giraffes roam freely from your private tent deck.
Waking up to the sound of hippos and sipping tea while watching animals just metres away felt like a true Out of Africa moment.
Accommodation: Riverside Luxury Safari Tents
This isn’t camping — it’s luxury tented accommodation at its finest. There are 20 spacious safari tents, each perched on elevated decks that directly overlook the winding Mara River, home to large pods of hippos.
We stayed in Tents 7 and 9 — and the view from Tent 9 was absolutely phenomenal!
