Ping Pong Dim Sum is one of our absolute favourites and we have loved dining at so many of their different branches over the years! St Christopher’s Place being our regular date night venue and Southbank being the annual meeting place with friends from all around the world visiting London in the summers. I have fond memories of indulging in a tower of bamboo baskets piled high filled with delicious dim sum whilst catching up over cocktails!
We’ve really been missing Dim Sum a lot and so I was thrilled to find out that Ping Pong has a Ready to Steam range available to order nationwide which means you can enjoy all the amazing Ping Pong favourites at home. The best part being they require super minimum prep and very little washing up. Win win!
It’s also very reasonably priced with a minimum order of £30 (£6 shipping charge). If you order over £42 you get free delivery, and if you order before 2pm on weekdays you can get it the next day! How convenient is that?
So here’s what we ordered:
- Char Sui Buns
- Prawn & Chive Dumplings (gf)
- Spicy Chicken Dumpling (gf)
- Chicken & Cashew nut Dumplings
- Vegetable spring rolls (vegan)
- Shanghai Chilli Wonton with Spinach and Mushroom (vegan)
- Honey Glazed Spare Ribs (Gluten Free)
- Smoked Chilli Chicken Wings (Gluten Free)
It was packaged in really versatile containers and for the Dim Sum, with the exception of the spring rolls, we just had to microwave them for just over a minute in the containers itself.
For the spring rolls, chicken wings and ribs, it was a straightforward pop in the oven and very conveniently for the same time period making life very easy!
You can also order various sauces alongside your Dim Sum as well as tableware, which is superb and I managed to get a Bamboo Steamer along with my order.
The food was absolutely sublime. The exact same taste and high quality as you get in the restaurant and my favourite out of the Dim Sum were the Shanghai Chilli Wonton with Spinach and Mushroom – I couldn’t believe it was Vegan! Amit loved the Prawn and Chive Dumplings and we both devoured the Chicken Wings and Ribs with glee.
The portions were really generous and we managed to make it last us for 2 meals and so I have to say it is incredible value!
If you want a really scrumptious at home dining experience I can’t recommend Ping Pong’s Ready to steam range enough. Perfect for date nights, family get togethers to enjoy al fresco in your garden or when you just really want dim sum!

Some of the Ping Pong venues that have outside seating are now open so be sure to check them out too!
My experience was complimentary but all views and photos are my own.
