An evening of festive fun at the Moonpig Virtual Event

With more of us spending time at home and unable to see our loved ones, I was excited to be invited to a virtual Christmas Event by Moonpig, who I use regularly for all my cards, to find out more about their App as well as virtually network with other bloggers!

They had pre-sent me some goodies so that I could take part in a Cocktail making and Flower arranging workshop too.

We kicked off the evening with an overview of how to personalise Christmas Cards on the Moonpig App with Jasper.

One feature I love is the ability to add a handwritten message, which is available on ios only at the moment.  All you need to do is write your message on a blank piece of paper, take a photo of it and then upload it to the app when instructed. This will then be uploaded into your card. Such a lovely way to make the card that extra bit more meaningful, especially during these times.

There are over 10,000+ cards to choose from and handy filters that you can set to  easily find the perfect one to create that wow-factor for your loved ones.

I love receiving personalised mail in the post and this is such a convenient, easy, speedy and fabulous way to send snail mail!

Cocktails Masterclass

Next up was a cocktail masterclass with Conor from Mix & Twist. Moonpig kindly sent me all the ingredients ahead of time, and they sell the vodka we used as part of their gift offering. Other spirits are available as well.

We made the following festive cocktails:

Vodka Garden:

45ml Belvedere Vodka, 25ml lime juice, 25ml sugar syrup, 6-8 mint leaves, 25ml elderflower soda, 1inch Cucumber slice

Kiwi Collins:

45ml Belvedere Vodka, half peeled kiwi, 25ml lemon juice, 25ml sugar syrup and soda top

Gingerbread Espresso Martini:

45ml Belvedere Vodka, 15ml Gingerbread syrup & 60ml Espresso

You can purchase the Vodka as well as lots of other great Christmas gifts here:

Flower Masterclass

Our final masterclass of the evening was with Roxanne from Moonpig, who held the flower arranging class and taught us how to create the perfect Christmas centrepiece.

Flowers always cheer anyone up and I had received a lovely bouquet a few days prior which definitely cheered me up! We used these flowers to create a festive centre piece, which was so therapeutic to make!

We started by arranging the leaves around the border of the sponge to try to cover the Oasis as much as possible. Then we added the flowers by grouping them or scattering them around. We slowly built it around the Oasis.

I loved the final arrangement I made and it’s still brightening up my office even weeks later! Moonpig sells a gorgeous range of flowers which you can check out here:

I had such a fantastic evening and will definitely be using the Moonpig App a lot during this festive period to personalise cards for all my friends, neighbours and family. Delivery is speedy and with so much choice on the App there is a card suited for everyone.

Why not start early and plan your Christmas gifts now too with the Moonpig App! Download it here:

For a 20% off discount on any cards ordered via the app use the code APP20CA

I was kindly gifted all the items mentioned but all views and opinions are my own.
