A fun Pizza Night in with the Eat Pizza Repeat Premium Pizza Making Kit

I love a good Pizza night at home and so when the lovely folks over at Eat Pizza Repeat sent me over their Premium Neapolitan Pizza Making Kit for two to test drive, I was really excited!

They deliver on Thursdays and Fridays nationwide and you can add extra items to your orders such as starters, meats or desserts. I loved the swift delivery, the sustainable packaging and all the ingredients are of a high quality. With more of us spending time at home due to the ever changing restrictions, this is a lovely meal kit to indulge in at home.

What’s in the box?

The Classic Margherita kit includes:

  • 48hr Fermented Neapolitan Pizza Dough x 2
  • San Marzano Tomato Sauce
  • Fior Di Latte Mozzarella*
  • Fresh Grated Grana Padano*
  • Caputo ’00’ Flour for dusting
  • Fresh Basil
  • Step-by-step guide

They also kindly added in Mediterranean Mixed Olives for starters, and an Ultimate Chocolate Brownie and Sicilian Lemon Cannolis for dessert.

All you need for your perfect pizza night is a nice large clean surface to roll out the pizza dough on, a frying pan and a grill. No need for a fancy schmancy pizza oven as you’ll get an incredible pizza using your trusty frying pan! What a revelation!

We poured ourselves a glass of wine each and had great fun rolling and stretching out the dough, which was prepared fresh on order, on a flour dusted surface, then popped it into our frying pan, added the San Marzano Tomato Sauce and let it cook on medium-high heat.

Once the base had cooked and slightly browned in the frying pan, we then added the Fior Di Latte and Grana Padano and popped the frying pan under the grill for around 4 minutes until all the cheese had melted and the pizza was looking gorgeous.

I like adding the fresh basil at the end as a personal preference as I like the fresh pop of flavour it gives with your pizza bite!

It tasted incredible and momentarily mentally transported me to Italy. The crust was to die for and it tasted like an authentic Neapolitan Pizza! The great thing about these kits is if you want you can customise the pizza with any other ingredients you have at home too, but I prefer the classic Margarita style pizza!

After dinner we settled down on the sofa and indulged in the brownie and cannolis and they were sublime!

This would be such a fun activity to do with kids as well as on a date night, if you fancy being a pizzaiolo or pizzaiola for an evening! We had such a brilliant time making and eating the pizzas and would 100% do it again!

They would also make the perfect gift to surprise someone with as a lovely treat, especially now with the country in different stages of lockdown. You can even add a nice personalised note to make it even more special.
