5 Things to do in London this Autumn

A 10pm Curfew need not wreck the joy that Autumn brings this year! Fall is a season of change and probably my favourite season of them all!

In the words of Winnie The Pooh it is a “time of hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, and best of all, leaping into LEAVES!”

Come rain, shine or pandemic, here are my suggestions of 5 things to do in London this Autumn.

Hotel Breakfast

If, like me, you’re missing travelling, why not take yourself for Breakfast to a London Hotel. My favourite has to be Jean-Georges at The Connaught where you can actually find an Ayurvedic staple, Kitchari, on the menu. This wholesome dish is so hearty and the perfect Autumnal soul food.

Cocktails and Live Music

Every Thursday and Friday evening between 5 and 8pm you can enjoy live music at The Hansom, at St Pancras Renaissance, where you can sip on their iconic cocktails as well as indulge in delicious Bar snacks such as the moreish Shropshire Blue Cheese Toasties!

Wine Tasting

Go Wine tasting! September and October is Harvest season and so you’ll be able to see all the vineyards in action too! I recommend Bolney Wine Estate in West Sussex which is absolutely stunning with delicious wine!

Sightseeing on the River Thames

Go sightseeing whilst indulging in Afternoon Tea with City Cruises. It’s such a lovely way to see all the key London Landmarks. The boats are completely weatherproof so it doesn’t matter if there are drizzles!

Go for romantic walks

It’s the best time to go for romantic walks to see the leaves changing colour whilst breathing in all the fresh, crisp air! I recommend Hyde Park or Regents Park.

About Binny

Hi, I'm Binny - a writer, dreamer and serial wanderluster with a love for Wildlife Conservation. I am originally from Kenya but I now live in London. 'Karibu' to Binny's Food and Travel! I regularly share my experiences eating out, cooking and travelling, both in the UK and globally, as well as educate on the plight of Wildlife. I am an ambassador for World Animal Protection and regularly support the work of The Born Free Foundation, Four Paws and Dreams Come True Charity. I love packing my bags and going off on adventures as one of the best things about travelling is the ability to just get lost in it. To set aside the maps and itineraries and just see where the road takes you, learning and evolving and living in the moment along the way. It's my goal to get swept off my feet as often as possible!

  1. I think Winnie the Pooh had it all sorted and right! Love your Autumn cosy London line-up and hopefully I can take advantage of a couple of these at some point!
