Easter Guide – 2019

Easter Guide – 2019

It’s that special time of year where chocolate is in abundance and seems to fall from the sky, cute fluffy chicks and bunnies are out in full swing and we are all looking forward to a 4 day long weekend!

Here is a guide to some lovely gifts for Easter as well as decorations if you are thinking of hosting an Easter themed get together, or an egg-cellent menu if you want to eat out.

Reese’s Egg

Reese’s is a favourite no matter the season in our house and so even more special is their large hollow egg made with delicious creamy milk chocolate and with three additional Reese’s Peanut Butter Crème Eggs in the pack – perfect for Easter!

Available in Tescos.

Divine Easter Egg

The Divine Easter Egg range uses only high quality, Fairtrade ingredients carefully sourced from farming communities across the world.  The cocoa beans are produced by the farmers of Kuapa Kokoo, a co-operative of over 80,000 cocoa farmers in Ghana who own 44% of the Divine company and receive a share of Divine’s distributed profits leading to more economic stability, as well as the increased influence in the cocoa industry company-ownership brings.

All Divine’s Easter eggs are free from artificial flavourings, colourings and preservatives, are suitable for vegetarians (and some for vegans) and are also palm oil free.

Available http://ukshop.divinechocolate.com/uk/shop/as well as Booths, Ethical Superstore, Sainsbury’s, Selfridges, Tesco, Ocado, Oxfam and Waitrose.

Jelly Belly

Whether you’re having a happy day or an angry one, there is a Jelly Belly® jelly bean for everyone in the new Mixed Emotions Collection, which makes a lovely alternative Easter candy gift option. Favourite flavours of Jelly Belly® beans are paired with an emotion, and finished with the imprint of a corresponding face to show off those feelings.

Bubblegum Balloons

I love Bubblegum Balloons and their brand new Easter collection has everything from Personalised Bubbles (£30) to Popping Balloon Games (£12) to ready-to-go Easter Egg Hunt Packages (£45).

Perfect for Easter celebrations.

Easter Decorations from Flying Tiger

If you’re having an Easter themed party, the decorations from Flying Tiger are so cute! Pop into one of their stores to see the full range, but the Chick Tea lights and Easter Egg decorations are my favourite!

Easter Tasting Menu at Baluchi at The LaLiT London.

As part of a limited-edition seven-course tasting menu available exclusively at Baluchi from 19th to 22nd April – the star of the show is an eggs-travagant Easter dessert of mango and coconut mousse served in a delicious chocolate egg shell.

Binita Shah-Patel

Hi, I’m Binny – a writer, dreamer, serial wanderluster and travel addict. I am originally from Kenya but now live in London. I set up this blog to share my experiences eating out as well as travelling.

I love packing my bags and going off on adventures as one of the best things about travelling is the ability to just get lost in it. To set aside the maps and itineraries and just see where the road takes you, learning and evolving and living in the moment along the way.

It’s my goal to get swept off my feet as often as possible.
