Dalloway Terrace is one of the prettiest places in London to have a meal or enjoy a leisurely Afternoon Tea. For my blogger friends Angie, Emma and I, it has become one of our favourite places to catch up over breakfast and we’ve experienced it during its various seasonal facades over the years.
I have also featured it in my Top 6 Breakfast places in London.
This time we met during its autumnal edit with gorgeous red, orange leaves garnishing its pretty dining rooms. All three of our birthdays are close together and so we decided to have a birthday catch up as well as a much overdue catch up, as the three of us had all been travelling lately too.
Over multiple cups of coffees we chatted away, giggled, planned future events and catch ups and had such a fantastic start to the month as it was 1 November.
I love the breakfast served there and I kind of have a favourite order – the Shakshuka which is sublime! I adore all the flavours and it is a really hearty start to the day and keeps me full for ages after!
Emma chose the Eggs Royale and I loved the presentation of this with the dinky little pot with Hollandaise sauce!
Angie had her favourite breakfast which is Irish porridge with chopped nuts, bananas and honey, and which was actually perfect for the freezing November morning!
We also shared a Rainbow Acai Bowl, which had seasonal berries, assorted nuts and and banana. I loved how this was garnished and it did look like a healthy rainbow!
After our breakfast we nipped into The Coral Room, a stunning bar adjacent to Dalloway Terrace at The Bloomsbury Hotel, for another round of coffees and to continue our catch ups. It is such a fabulous spot and a nice oasis of calm away from the nearby madness of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road.
If you are looking for a lovely bar for a catch up I highly recommend it and the cocktails are delicious too! It is also a fantastic place to have a work meeting or to even work from!
Dalloway Terrace is about to have its winter installation and having heard a little about what its going to be like it sounds amazing! I can’t wait to see how it looks when it is all ready and it is always a cute place in winter to cosy up with mulled wine, hot chocolate and stay toasty!
Stay tuned to see what the winter edit looks like!
