All I want for Christmas is…A Harrods Luxury Christmas Hamper

All I want for Christmas is…A Harrods Luxury Christmas Hamper

Now that we are in November it is perfectly okay to talk about the ‘C’ word. Christmas time for me, is definitely the most wonderful time of the year. I love all the traditions, as well as how pretty London looks when the Christmas lights go on in Oxford Street, sipping on mulled wine on chilly evenings, being mesmerised by all the shop displays and decorations and buying gifts for loved ones and colleagues. I absolutely love getting Christmas presents and even better, opening them!

I had been lusting over the world renowned Harrods Luxury Christmas Hampers for years and years wishing that one day someone would surprise me with one and I must have been a really good girl this year as Harrods have so kindly gifted me one of their delightful hampers, The Leyburn by Cartwright and Butler, which came as a total surprise. It is so generous of Harrods and I am very grateful to receive such a fabulous gift from the world’s most luxurious department store and it is going to be a hard one to beat (unless of course someone gifts me another hamper 😉 wink wink).

The hamper is actually named after the market town of Leyburn in Cartwright & Butler’s Yorkshire homeland, and is filled with all the British traditional tea time favourites and as I excitedly opened the luxurious wicker basket, complete with leather straps, I couldn’t believe just how generously filled it was. Literally to the brim!

The hamper contains everything you could want to indulge on to make teatime special, starting with Cartwright and Butler’s Tea and Coffee. Having the choice is perfect as in my household I am the coffee drinker and Amit is the tea drinker and so we each have our own little indulgence.

There are so many pantry goodies to feast and snack on which include 8 Caramel Syrup Waffles, Cheese Wafers with Sweet Honey & Mustard, Chocolate Wafer Crispies, Butter Oat Crumbles, Cherry & Almond Loaf Cake, Tomato & Olive Bread Thins, Chocolate Wafer Rounds, Exquisite Biscuits, English Mustard and English Breakfast Marmalade.

After you’ve indulged in all the pantry items (I am personally most excited about the Tomato and Olive Bread Thins, the Mustard and the Breakfast Marmalade), there are two very decadent confectionery items as treats that remain to open and enjoy.
Salted caramel fudge and Lemon & Tangerine sweet slices. What an incredible and delicious way to end tea time on a luxurious sugar high. I am SO looking forward to tucking into these.
I am so thrilled to finally try everything at Christmas time and just the sheer excitement I had of opening the Christmas Hamper makes me feel that this would be the perfect gift for someone special and Harrods have the most amazing selection of Hampers to choose from, so there is bound to be that ideal one in there!
It is also the perfect gift to leave hints for if you fancy receiving one from your loved one as it is such a dreamy hamper to receive. In fact, the wicker basket itself is just such fantastic quality and so useful after you’ve consumed all the goodies inside it.
I have every intention to use it for Spring/Summer picnics and you just know you are bound to have the best wicker basket in the park if you take this beauty with you!

I can’t recommend a Harrods Luxury Christmas Hamper enough as a gift and you can find the complete variety online. The The Leyburn by Cartwright and Butler costs £125 but they do have Hampers available which start from £35 and go up as far as £5,000, for an ultra luxurious selection.

If you order by November 24th you will get free UK delivery on orders over £130, (terms and conditions apply).

Santa if you are reading this, I also love the look of The Christmas Carol and The Daylesford Boxing Day Selection.

Have you ever received or gifted someone a Harrods Christmas Hamper? I would love to know in the comments section below.

Disclaimer: I was kindly gifted the Harrods Christmas Hamper by the lovely folks at Harrods. All views and photos are my own.
