Strolling along shopping in Milan, we came across the very fashionable Gucci Cafe, located outside the Gucci shop in the breath-taking Gallerie Vittorio Emanuele. Of course, being a massive Gucci lover through and through, I decided then and there that we were going to have some coffee and dessert there.
After all if you are a coffee fan, Italian coffee is absolutely divine. I was intrigued to see what the Gucci cafe was like as there were no prices quoted on the menu!
For our dessert choice, we went for the Trio cake and White Africa. Both were delicious and the flavours perfectly balanced. At this point we still did not know if we were going to be paying 200 Euros per dessert and Amit was slightly nervous but I was all in my element with the excitement.
We also tried the complimentary chocolates with the Gucci logo embossed on. What is there not to love about Chocolate 🙂 We bought a selection to take away too and they were placed into a beautiful Gucci box.
There is coffee art and then there is Gucci coffee art and my cappuccino was very photographic and quite heart breaking to take my first sip and spoil the design.
Shame at the time i visited Instagram wasn’t really born yet! I definitely enjoyed pretending to be Italian, drinking my coffee and enjoying my surroundings for that moment though.
The Gucci Cafe is perfect for a sweet pick me up and a coffee rather than a lunch. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for a luxurious experience (Starbucks prices but a Gucci experience) and it is such a fantastic, buzzing place to people watch from.
If you are visiting Milan and into fashion, then it is definitely worth having a dessert or a coffee there. It can be found at: Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Milan, Italy.
