First product review

The first product I reviewed was Corkers Crisps which are amazing crisps and will always be special to me.
Christmas in July

Prior to being a blogger I had never heard of Christmas in July events. This year I was lucky to attend both the Carluccios and Amazon events.

Made lots of foodie friends

Social media has been fantastic and have made some amazing friends on Instagram and Twitter who are all inspiring and fantastic foodies. We had a London foodie meet which was lovely.

 Curry For Change

This year I supported Curry For Change, an initiative from a charity called Find your Feet. Here are some highlights from the events where I met lovely foodies.

 Inspiring Chefs

This year I met some wonderful chefs who are pictured below in the following order: Michel Roux Jr., Mallika Basu, Asma Khan and Vivek Singh.

I visited Barbados, Saint Lucia, Vienna, Lisbon and Kenya this year and here are highlights from the trips.

My recipe being featured in a book

I was so thrilled to receive a copy of the Wren Family Favourites Recipe Book featuring my Egg Curry recipe. The book now has a proud spot on my bookshelf.

  Trying new food

And finally! The highlight of 2015 was winning Highly Commended in the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards 2015.

A massive thank you to everyone who has been supporting my blog, who voted for me and for encouraging me with kind words. It means alot!

A big thank you to Amit for letting me follow my dreams.

2015 has been a fantastic year. Looking forward to 2016! Wishing you all a happy new year!

About Binny

Hi, I'm Binny - a writer, dreamer and serial wanderluster with a love for Wildlife Conservation. I am originally from Kenya but I now live in London. 'Karibu' to Binny's Food and Travel! I regularly share my experiences eating out, cooking and travelling, both in the UK and globally, as well as educate on the plight of Wildlife. I am an ambassador for World Animal Protection and regularly support the work of The Born Free Foundation, Four Paws and Dreams Come True Charity. I love packing my bags and going off on adventures as one of the best things about travelling is the ability to just get lost in it. To set aside the maps and itineraries and just see where the road takes you, learning and evolving and living in the moment along the way. It's my goal to get swept off my feet as often as possible!
