The best way to beat the Monday blues is a Levantine feast at a fabulous pop up on Cannon Street, Bank serving Eastern Mediterranean cuisine.
A group of bloggers ate their way through what can only be described as extraordinarily good food while having lots of giggles. The night started with delicious warm pitta bread served with a selection of dips which included pancar, fadi and hummus.
We were then briefly interrupted by a fire drill. We made the best of the situation by chatting away outside with our cocktails. I went for a mojito.
Now the dessert OMG!! Vanilla ice cream baklava with roast nut brittle & burnt honey caramel. This was serious heaven and something you crave after you have left the restaurant again having wished you had eaten more of it. It was seriously phenomenal.
Ceru has a pop up on Cannon street until December 2015 so get yourself down there for a seriously good feast! I will efinitely be back for that ice cream.
