Chit Chaat Chai Pop up at Stage 3 Hackney

Chit Chaat Chai Pop up at Stage 3 Hackney

Last night I had my first supperclub experience with Chit Chaat Chai at Stage 3 in Hackney and what an amazing one!

The venue was perfect! There was a massive screen showing Mother India while all the diners ate delicious chaat food and chit “chaated” away.

Tania and Dhruv, who I met at a Curry For Change event hosted by a charity called Find Your Feet, were superb hosts. A portion of the ticket for this meal went towards Curry for Change, an initiative I also support.

You could see the passion and love that went into the food and the professional level of hospitality at this supperclub.

We started off with some drinks. I had a Fashioned in Kashmir which was spicy, delicious and very refreshing.

We then were treated to amazing chaat starting off with Bombay Bhel. This was beautifully served and we wolfed it down so fast!

Reminiscent of street food in India, this was super yummy!

We followed this with Yogurt puris, which had an explosion of delicate flavours in my mouth. Loved these!

The third chaat starter was chicken and onion pakoras which were so good!

I love pakoras and these went so well with the drinks.

For mains we were treated to a Chicken Kati Roll. It was so neatly presented with a side of masala fries and salad.

This was so filling and so delicious!

There were also 4 different chutneys or “chaatneys” to go with all the chaats. My favourite was the chilli and garlic one.

Finally for dessert we were treated to Mango Mess which is Chit Chaat Chai’s take on Eton Mess.
This was so indulgent and refreshing.

I had a super time at the supperclub and really recommend it as it is on until the 26th September.

If you haven’t tried chaats, a supperclub or just want a fun night out with fantastic food this is for you! You can also opt for a vegetarian menu.

And as part of the proceeds from the tickets go towards a fabulous cause you will be doing good too!
